BBG called a 2028 surplus. MU, BofA, and Samsung say no.

By rummy ·

BBG is calling for memory shortage to start easing now with surplus by 2028, but $MU's CEO sees zero visibility of any easing in supply, BofA says fears about South Korea's ₩800tn fab cluster signaling a cycle peak are premature, and Samsung is targeting a 20% Q3 DRAM ASP hike on top of last quarter's 100% increase. Cumulative ASP hikes of that magnitude don't happen in a market drifting toward oversupply. The bulls have more data on their side right now.
