Metals catch a bid as the dollar gets leaned on: Metals had a strong week as the dollar slid, and the read is Bessent may keep leaning on USDJPY intervention since a stronger dollar risks Treasury sales he doesn't want. If that pressure continues, the dollar stays artificially suppressed, which keeps the wind at the metals' back. Models are flagging high odds the move holds, but it's a 'let's see' setup, not a lock.

$AMPX earnings solid, drones and space names flexing a squeeze: $AMPX's earnings came in decent, and drone and space names are showing a bit of a squeeze together right now, the most bullish sector read on the board at the moment. $KTOS could ride the same wave if the group gets a push. Macro canaries: crack spread still high, jobs data off, GDP tracking hot: Crack spread dipped under 60 but is still running high, and gulf coast diesel's near a year-over-year high, both worth keeping on the radar. Jobs estimates are coming in way off versus BLS data, yet Fedwatch rate-hike odds are actually falling and GDPNow's 3Q tracking at 5.8% growth. Mixed signals, nothing screaming a direction yet, just flagging the canaries in the coal mine.
