Bond yields body-slam beta, software the one holdout: Rough day in beta land: $XSD (equal-weight semis) down 6%, $MEME (high-beta proxy) down 8%. Software held up noticeably better, so this reads more like a bond-yield-driven beta purge than a crack in the AI story itself. Elevated Treasury yields are the flagged culprit pressuring the whole AI trade, and JPM's own take on the selloff lines up with that framing. Worth watching yields here since that's the actual lever, not any single name's fundamentals.

H100 rental rates hit a one-month high, dents Burry's depreciation case: The H100 hour just printed $3.08, its highest in a month, which cuts against the 'GPUs depreciate fast' argument sitting under Burry's bearish $NBIS thesis. If pricing keeps holding up like this, the bear case gets harder to make on the numbers alone. Not a green light on the stock, just more ammo for the squeeze-not-fundamentals camp we've been tracking here.

$OSS contract win confirms the thesis, chart's flashing bear flag: $OSS picked up a small contract win, another brick in the thesis even if the dollar amount's minor on its own. Chart's shaping up like a bear flag though, so bulls need to step in here for it to actually matter. Options are illiquid on this name, so it's more a watch-the-stock situation than a covered-call setup right now.

Rosenblatt's photonics chats back up the thesis on AAOI and VIAV: Rosenblatt's channel checks on two photonics names landed today and both lean bullish. AAOI's CEO said they're basically sold out through the second half of next year and beyond, that's real demand visibility, not just talk. VIAVI's test-and-measurement business, historically a low-single-digit telecom grower, is getting reframed as something with real legs off the optical build-out. Another data point stacking on top of the photonics thesis we've been tracking since LITE cleared $1B.

DELL's ~40% enterprise server share is the moat behind the AI factory trade: DELL's holding close to 40% market share in enterprise servers, a clear lead over the field. That kind of incumbency matters when enterprises are writing checks for AI infrastructure at scale, it's the underlying reason the DELL breakout has legs beyond just sentiment. Nothing new to do here, just another brick in the AI factory thesis we've been watching alongside HPE.

Bond buying mechanism flips bullish for semis, MRVL leads the photonics bounce: Treasury stepping in to buy bonds directly is basically the reverse of the mechanism flagged in premarket, lower long-end yields should be a tailwind for semis and the broader AI trade. MRVL news is giving photonics specifically a real bounce right now. It's not money printing technically, but it's a clear signal Treasury and the Fed combo will lean on markets if things get ugly. Watching $SMH to see if the read-through actually sticks.

Gold needs a weekly close above the old highs to confirm the rip: Gold's ripping again, but the real test is whether it closes the week above its previous highs. Hold above there into Friday's close and the breakout's confirmed, miners should keep following along. Fade back under and this bounce is noise, not confirmation.

Quant levels: SPX pivot at 7702-7707, losing 7620-7635 flips it defensive: Today's SPX map: resistance stacked at 7762-7775, pivot sitting at 7702-7707, and strong support running from 7672 down through the 7620-7635 zone. Hold the pivot and there's room to test resistance, lose 7620-7635 and the tape flips defensive fast. Good lines to know before sizing anything up today.

BTC riding the dollar-debasement tailwind, testing its 200d SMA: BTC's responding hard to the bonds news, catching the same tailwind that's had gold running as the dollar gets dumped. It's testing the 200-day SMA right now and hasn't closed above that line a single day this year, and you know the rule: nothing good happens below the 200d, so a reclaim here could tempt a lot more buyers back in. Not calling the true bottom in yet, but there's room for some upside if that line flips. $COIN and $HOOD calls have been picking up in the flow too, worth watching as the crypto-proxy tell.

BTC flirting with the 200d as the Bessent trade rotates into crypto: Gold and metals are reacting to the Bessent bond-buying story the way you'd expect, and crypto's catching the same bid, with BTC pushing up on its 200-day. That's close to a real change in character if it holds. Semis and tech, the other sector that should love lower yields, haven't budged yet, no clean reason why. Worth watching whether crypto's the tell or just first-mover, semis may still catch up or the whole yield-relief trade could be narrower than it looks.

VICR dumps on no visible news, worth a watch if you're holding: $VICR sold off hard today with nothing obvious behind it, no headline, no filing, no sector move to explain it. Nobody in the thread had an answer either. If you're holding covered calls here, worth digging before assuming it's noise, unexplained dumps sometimes front-run news.
